You have to eat right in order to stay healthy. If you do not eat the right kind of foods, your body does not receive the amazing nutrients it needs to stay healthy. You have to eat so it fuels your body. Similar to a motor vehicle, which you add gas to travel; the body requires food that promotes energy, making it go. Eating all the time is not good for you and not getting enough of the right nutrients can be harmful to your health.

Choosing the best foods to eat:

Not all foods with iron are the best for you, yet your liver is loaded with iron which is good for your blood, but too much isn’t good for your well being. Fruits and vegetables are excellent for you but again not too much because the fruit will turn into sugar and that is not good for your health. Eating too many can give you gibes, especially if you have to watch your weight. You can get high cholesterol as well from eating too many bad for you foods. High cholesterol often results in harden arteries, which is often followed by strokes or heart attacks. So you need to eat but be mindful of what you are eating and how much of it.


How will I know if am not eating right?

When you go to your doctor, he will tell you if you need to change what you eat. Your doctor will be able to tell by how much you weigh. Then he may put you on a diet to drop off some unneeded weight or a diet to help you gain some healthy weight. He will describe to you what to eat and how much as well as what not to eat. Then he may tell you to exercise at least 3 times a week. You have to be able to burn up what you take in so it will not turn into sugar or fat.

Also, you should try to eat from the four food groups. Try to make sure that you only digest the amount you're supposed to, and get your excise that you need to start improving your life. You can always contact your family doctor to question him how to do something if you don’t know how they will also help you to learn how to keep track of your calories. This is important because it is a big job when it comes to losing weight, you have to know how to count your calories and keep track of the food that you take in. If you don’t you are not going to get the results that you want.


There are 100s of support groups that will help you if you need support. If you need help, simply visit your local hospital and they will know how to get you in touch with a group. These groups are great. The groups will give you support during the time that you need help. At group meetings, you will meet people with the same problems you have and you can give each other the encouragement. Just remember to set a goal but don’t make it so high that you can’t do it and become discouraged. Begin with a few steps at a time and then as you get better you can increase your plans. In addition, whatever you do stick to it, it takes time but you will achieve your goals.

Lack of willpower will not ruin you:

Something with much more power than willpower is rituals. By forming rituals you are no longer counting on willpower to achieve things in your life. Instead make it so that at a definite time you are exercising. At a certain time you are eating healthy foods. At a firm time you are working or having fun. The idea is to make it so that you pretty much know what you are doing throughout the day thus you are not hoping on willpower because we all have only so much to spare. So, if you want to succeed then rituals will get you there.
